Stake the Property

However, you will still be able to properly mark the boundaries, for the excavation process. This is an important step, because you don't want to remove more boulders or trees than absolutely necessary.

Clear the Site

To help identify whether there are any terrains that may pose a safety threat to workers, it is important that land clearing occurs. Any unwanted boulders, rocks, and trees should be completely removed from the site.

Process Permits

Test the Soil

You also need to have the soil tested, so that it can be identified whether there are any issues that require treatment. For example, if the soil is too loamy, it may be necessary to dig deeper, in order to reach sturdier soil for a more stable foundation for the home.
